De-duping and Manual Limiting¶

De-duping¶

Another feature of LIRNSearch is that you can automatically remove duplicates from your search result, aka "de-duping."

This is a really useful feature because LIRNSearch is pulling results from multiple databases. It is common for a result to be in more than one database and therefore appear multiple times in your results. By removing results with duplicate digital object identifiers or other information, you will reduce the number of results.

Manual Limiting¶

Finally, you can manually remove and keep items from your search results using the "Manage your Results" pane in the LIRNPortal
