Troubleshooting¶
Here are our top 5 tips for troubleshooting technical issues you can try yourself while waiting for a response:
- Try restarting your browser session by closing or (on a Mac) quitting the web browser.
- Try clearing your browser cookies.
- If the error occurs in LIRNSearch, try restoring the search settings to the default.
- Click "Search Sources" and "Restore to Defaults," and then also
- Click "Search Options" and "Restore to Defaults."
- If you receive a 410 error code, please contact your institution and let them know that they need to contact LIRN support to resolve this issue.
- If you receive a 404 error code, double check your URL (please note that URLs are case sensitive).
